Howdy y’all! I’m Tim Doyon, affectionately known by my friends and family as “Big Tim.” Many years ago, I traded in the hustle and bustle of city life for the quiet charm of Edmond, Oklahoma—just a stone’s throw away from Oklahoma City.
Back in August 4th of 1964, on my dear mother’s birthday, I made my grand entrance into this world. Ever since that day, she always claimed that I was her favorite, but you know how siblings are—my three brothers would always roll their eyes and insist it was all a fib. Jealousy, I tell ya!
My mom? Oh, she was a stay-at-home superhero—a master of PB&J sandwiches, scraped knees, and bedtime stories. Best mom ever, hands down. And my dad? Well, he wore the stripes of a highly decorated warrant officer in the U.S. Army. His journey took him through the Korean War and the thick jungles of Vietnam. Talk about a hero in uniform!
I have three brothers, Mike being the oldest, then there was Jay, (followed by me), and the youngest is Jon. They are all amazing guys and they’re all old too, just like me.
So here I am, Big Tim, with a heart full of memories and a workshop full of sawdust. Life’s twists and turns have led me to this quiet corner, where wood tells its own stories. Stick around—I’ve got more tales to share!
